Nairobi!!! The only capital city with a national park in it , how cool is that? There are soo many nice gems in this city that it makes it difficult to decide where to go first, but don't worry coz I got you .I will cover some classic places you can visit in a day. Shall we...
1 KICC 8:00 AM
LOCATION: CITY SQUARE, HARAMBEE AVENUE
ENTRANCE FEE: CHILDREN KES100, ADULTS KES 200

Kenyatta International Convention Center, once the tallest building in Kenya after it's construction in 1973 it is a very well recognized landmark. Not only is it used for events and exhibitions but also has a rooftop that provides stunning views of the city's skylines and it's environs. For photo lovers this is an amazing opportunity to take those gorgeous selfies and photos from a bird's eye view. You can also buy a souvenir once you are done.
2 NAIROBI NATIONAL MUSEUM 11:00 AM
LOCATION: MUSEUM HILL, KIPANDE ROAD
ENTRY FEE: CHILDREN KES100, ADULTS KES200

This is my favorite spot in the city. The museum was initiated in 1910under the East Africa and Uganda Natural History Society, with the intention of preserving collections of various specimen. The attraction points of the museum are: cradle of human kind gallery, story of mammals gallery, the history of Kenya gallery, cycles of life gallery and numismatic exhibition.
FUN FACT; The museum offers exclusive night tours of groups with a minimum of 10
I always have an amazing time in the museum walking through all those different areas the feeling and experience is nothing short of amazing.

3 ANIMAL ORPHANAGE 14:00
LOCATION:LANG'ATA ROAD, KENYA WILDLIFE SERVICE HEAD OFFICE
ENTRY FEE: CHILDREN KES125, ADULTS KES 215

This is for all the animal lovers. Nairobi animal orphanage serves as a treatment and a rehabilitation center for wild animals. You can spot lions, hyenas, monkeys, warthogs, leopards, tortoise, a buffalo and a number of birds. I had the privilege of spotting an alpha lion and a very vibrant hyena on my trip there, Seeing all the animals up close gives you a totally different perspective especially when they lock eyes with you.

The iconic board walk of Nairobi safari walks gives you an opportunity to have an uninterrupted view of animals and nature. Some of the animals you are likely to spot are monkeys, antelopes , bongos and zebras.
